Trailerized Units
Satcom Scientific has delivered a host of trailerized systems designed to fit the needs of each individual customers. Trailerized systems are typically used in cases where the system is deployed for a period of time therefore not tying up a dedicated motor vehicle for these types of events.
The CMT (Compact Mobile Terminal) line of products have been delivered to NATO for support in the Bosnian war, NASCAR, Maritime Television Network and supported the making of the film Jarhead where a CMT was placed in Mexico for the filming and the footage from the Mexico location was transmitted to the studios in California for real time editing.
Other SSi trailerized systems have been used for coverage of ad-hoc sporting events, corporate disaster recovery, distance learning and several military specific applications.
