2.4-Meter Ku-band Flyaway
This fully redundant 2.4-meter flyaway system was delivered to TruTV network in 2008. The system was designed to transmit three digital television programs simultaneously. The equipment is integrated in an uncluttered fashion that allows for plenty of cooling and ease of operation. Interconnect cables are at a minimum and custom engraved I/O panels prevent personnel accidentally making improper connections. The Transmit Case shows the customer connection points as well as an IF combiner/splitter panel for sending multiple programs. The rear of the Receive Case shows the customer connection points as well the Power Interface Unit (PIU). The PIU provides for simple electrical hookup and includes individual equipment case circuit breakers and digital metering of the utility power.
